ANDREAS GRASSL

Director's Profile

Andreas Grassl is a German award-winning commercial director who collected a vast number of prizes at major international ad festivals including The Cannes Lions, Clio, ADC, New York, London etc. Once starting off producing and directing with his own production house a few years ago now, he then turned into freelance directing and eventually developed into an  established well known international car commercial master.

Andreas quickly developed a unique sensorial imagery style. His extensive experience in post-production, along with his ability to get imaginative and bold – while creating impactful moments – has allowed him to produce stunning films. Those clearly show a defined character style and a certain degree of playfulness with cars advancing to highly efficient production values out of any given production setting. Within his field we feel he’s pretty much kind of unrivalled at combining extraordinary writing abilities and at superb twisting of the stories with a touch of emotion and provocation. Andreas’ quality end product is dead evident in his meticulous and detailed approach to every single project bringing to surface a unique personality in each of them.

Based in Munich, Andreas has worked on worldwide campaigns within all five different continents for inspiring brands such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Lexus, Honda, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault, Volkswagen, Mini, Jeep, Kia, Subaru et al and has directed a range of talents and celebrities including Margot Robbie, Novak Djokovic, Ranveer Singh and Mark Chao. Two Of Us are thrilled to extend and expand Andreas’ mark within the UK and – although steadily a freelance worldwide – via select opportunities throughout.
